INTERVIEW DAY
Spring 2008 EID April
10th 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Education Interview Day (EID) is
held to assist University of West Alabama seniors and graduate students seeking
teaching positions with setting up interviews with school system
recruiters. The Spring 2008 EID will be held in The Bell
Conference Center on campus.
Interview Sign Ups: The
Schedule for the Spring 2008 EID begins with interview
sign-ups at 9:00 am. During this time students can meet with
recruiters to sign up for interviews. Interviews will be scheduled in 20 minute intervals. Students are encouraged to sign up with as many school
systems as possible to learn about various teaching opportunities and school
systems.
Registration and Procedures: Students
should plan to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30.. Students will be allowed to
sign up for interviews according to their registration number with the first 10 signing up
first. After registering, a brief information session will take place in
the Webb Hall Parlor at 8:45. All participating students/graduates must attend
this brief instructional session.
Professional attire is expected and students should bring copies of their resume to
distribute to school systems. (Resume Assistance is available in The
Career Services Office). An educator's doorprize will be given away
by the UWA Career Services Office.

on projected teaching areas in demand is also included.

Graduating students in all education majors may interview with the following
school systems whether or not they have listed your teaching area as a projected
